AIS26 is the 2026 AI in Science Summit — the annual flagship EU conference driving implementation of the European Strategy on AI in Science. It takes place in Dublin on 15–16 October 2026, organised by University College Dublin and Research Ireland as part of Ireland’s EU Presidency Programme and the European AI Innovation Month.

The overarching theme is “Reaching a New Level of Ambition in Research and Innovation” for public and private sectors. The summit brings academia, innovators, industry, policymakers, and investors together to explore how AI can open fundamentally new research approaches — with a distinctive and responsible European path.

AIS26 will highlight progress of major EU AI enablers such as RAISE, strengthen global collaboration on AI in science, and host domain strands on how AI transforms research across critical fields. Full practical information and programme updates are on the Irish Presidency event page.
