The newly designed flyer serves as a comprehensive introduction to SimuLingua's mission at the intersection of artificial intelligence and science. Inside, readers will learn how the project is building an open Scientific Foundation Model (SciFM) for materials. The flyer outlines our ambitious goal to unify text, structures, images, and simulation data into a closed design-simulate-validate loop. It also details how AI and physics-based simulations (including DFT, phase-field, and CFD/FEM) will validate new materials and ultimately store the results in a FAIR knowledge graph. Crucially, the flyer highlights the development of natural-language tools that will empower researchers to query data, run virtual experiments, and intelligently guide material design.
The flyer also provides a clear overview of the project's timeline and scope, noting our objective to advance AI for scientific discovery from TRL 1 to TRL 4 across six distinct use cases between June 2026 and May 2030.
The project partners will be distributing this flyer at various upcoming events and meetings.
You do not have to wait for our next public event to read it. A digital PDF version of the flyer is already accessible to the public. We encourage all our stakeholders, partners, and anyone interested in the future of AI-driven scientific discovery to take a look.
